Coeur d’Alene police

John Yearsley, an employee of Anderson Lumber, reported the $1,600 theft of a paint spray gun from the lumber yard, 505 W. Kathleen Ave.

John Bennett, 3600 block of 17th St., reported Monday someone broke into his car - causing $1,200 in damages - and stole stereo equipment valued at $1,510.

Kyle Kelley, 4800 block of Anne St., reported Friday the $900 theft of CDs from his Isuzu Trooper parked on the corner of Boise Ave. and 2nd St.

Glenn Carpenter, 2400 block of Coeur d’Alene, reported Friday the $5,000 theft of his 1994 Plymouth Voyager while parked at the Sunset Bar, 122 Appleway. The car was found later.

Kootenai County sheriff

Michael Murphy of Hayden Lake reported Tuesday the theft of his Master Card and $936 of fraudulent use.

Leslie Schmehl of Post Falls, reported Monday the theft from her home and shop of an antique cabinet valued at over $1,000 and a rifle worth $25.

Walter Shutt of Athol, reported Monday the $2,360 theft of canvas tarps, straps and tarp tighteners from his tractor-trailer rig parked on the Burlington Northern service road off Bruner.
