Experience: Director of the Los Angeles Unified School District, responsible for facilities programs for the nation’s second largest school district with 800,000 students. Until last year, served as senior executive for the Massachussetts Department of Environmental Protection. From 1989-95, served as group manager and division manager for TRW Automotive Electronics Group, with annual sales of $1.6 billion.

Education: Senior Executive Program, Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government; bachelor of science, applied social science from California State University at Long Beach.
