Steven Lassiter, Coeur d’Alene, reported Monday the $1,303 theft of services when someone fraudulently opened a telephone account in his name.

Melody Best reported Monday the $400 theft of a mountain bike from Idaho Youth Ranch Thrift Store, 811 Fourth St.

William Wright reported Monday $400 damage to the exterior paint on the driver’s side of his 1997 Ford pickup while it was parked at his home on the 700 block of Indiana Ave.

Donald Charney reported Monday the $400 theft of a custom-built speaker box from his 1987 Mazda pickup while it was parked at his home on the 2800 block of Masters Place.

Richard Riddle and Marvin Applequist, both of Wyoming, reported Tuesday the $2,350 theft of tools, camping gear and miscellaneous items from their pickups while they were parked at Hawthorne Inn, 2209 Sherman Ave.

Martie Gold, employee of Homes Choice Lease or Own, reported Monday the $2,200 theft of a stereo, cabinet and television when it was leased and not returned to the business at 848 Fourth St.

Richard Howell, Rathdrum, reported Monday the $1,000 theft of a 1984 Buick Regal from his home on the 11500 block of Hidden Valley Road.

Phillip Graves, St. Maries, reported Tuesday the $1,200 theft of fishing tackle and a trolling motor from his home on the 40090 block of state Highway 3.

Mark Reimann, owner of R.C.O. Inc., reported Tuesday the $630 theft of utility signs from a work site on Scarcello Road near Rathdrum.

Clayton Young, Hayden, reported Tuesday the $700 theft of a Stihl chain saw from his 1996 Ford pickup while it was parked at his home on the 100 block of Kelly Rae Drive.

Kenneth Brown, Hayden, reported Tuesday the $5,439 theft of a 1999 Honda 15 horsepower outboard motor, chain saw, nailgun and power tools from his 1993 Ford pickup while it was parked at his home on the 1100 block of Diamond Drive.

Le Roy Free, employee of Babbitt Logging Co., reported Tuesday $525 damage to the windows and tires of a John Deere grader while it was parked in a parking area on Fernan Saddle near Coeur d’Alene.
