Braves 6, Mets 5: At Atlanta, Andruw Jones homered and drove in four runs off former teammate Tom Glavine, and Atlanta completed a three-game sweep of New York. Eli Marrero and Chipper Jones each had three hits for the Braves

Astros 7, Reds 5: At Cincinnati, Adam Everett’s eighth-inning suicide squeeze drove in the go-ahead run, and Roy Oswalt (11-8) beat Cincinnati. Morgan Ensberg had three RBIs for Houston, including a sacrifice fly in the eighth that cut their deficit to 5-4.

Rockies 10, Diamondbacks 2: At Denver, Jeromy Burnitz drove in four runs with a pair of homers to back Aaron Cook’s second complete game, and Colorado completed a three-game sweep of Arizona. Vinny Castilla, Todd Helton and Aaron Miles also homered for the Rockies.

Brewers 8, Pirates 7: At Milwaukee, Bill Hall’s bases-loaded single in the ninth inning gave Milwaukee the victory over Pittsburgh. Geoff Jenkins homered for the Brewers, and Luis Vizcaino (4-2) got two outs for the victory.

Dodgers 2, Padres 1 (12): At San Diego, Pinch-hitter Robin Ventura homered in the 12th inning, sending Los Angeles to a victory over San Diego. Steve Finley went 2 for 5 with a double and a run in his first start for the Dodgers.

Cardinals 6, Giants 1: At San Francisco, Woody Williams pitched 6 1/3 dominant innings for his fifth straight victory and 100th of his career, and Scott Rolen’s first-inning two-run homer stood up in St. Louis’ win over San Francisco. Williams (8-6) allowed five hits and retired the final 12 hitters he faced. He retired Barry Bonds three times.

Expos at Marlins (PPD): At Miami, Montreal led Florida 2-0 with one out in the fourth inning when rain interrupted play. Umpires called the game after a delay of 1 hour, 37 minutes. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Sept. 14 at Miami.
