Thieves nab ATM
LA GRANDE, Ore. – A Wal-Mart store in this mountain town started out a little short of cash to begin the week, police say.
Thieves took an ATM machine from the entry just before 9 a.m. last Monday as customers were being welcomed to the store, according to the Union County sheriff’s office.
Ronald T. McElvain, 38, has been named as a suspect in the case by the sheriff’s office and the FBI.
