Chiefs earn shutout at Regina
Adam Hobson tied a franchise record with two short-handed goals to lead the Spokane Chiefs to a 5-0 Western Hockey League victory over the Regina Pats in front of 4,242 at the Regina Agridome in Regina, Saskatchewan.
Goaltender Jim Watt earned his seventh career shutout, which tied the franchise record held by David Lemanowicz during the 1995-96 seasons.
Tim Krymusa had two short-handed goals in a 6-3 win over Tri-City in 2003.
Gustav Engman, Chad Klassen and Jevon Desautels also scored for Spokane.
