Clark Schmidt, owner of U Rent, reported Thursday the $60,000 theft of a 2005 International truck when it was rented from the business and not returned on the due date to a rental agency in Missoula, Mont.

Stephan Nylander reported Friday $400 damage to the side mirror of his 1990 Cadillac Deville while parked on the 1600 block of Seventh Street.

Gregory Fewster, Spokane, reported Tuesday the $570 theft of a backpack, pistol and ammunition from his 2000 Jeep Cherokee while it was parked in a business lot at 625 Dalton Ave.

Brenda Hochhalter, Post Falls, reported Wednesday $300 damage to the ignition of a 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier while parked at her home on the 5000 block of Royal Drive.

Todd Baldwin, Athol, reported Thursday $100 damage to a window and the $1,956 theft of fishing gear, food items, camping gear Playstation 2 games and accessories and miscellaneous items from his home on the 5700 block of E. Lorraine Drive.

Steve Brimingham, Hayden, reported Thursday the $650 theft of a gold bridal wedding ring set and a men’s gold ring from his home on the 9600 block of Ramsey Road.

Sharon Ward, Athol, reported Wednesday the $600 theft of a rifle and pistol from her home on the 25800 block of N. Ramsey Road.
