The first four games of Friday’s 4A softball East Regional at Franklin Park were postponed until today, and a revised schedule was put together.

The four games originally scheduled for Friday will be today at 10 a.m, weather permitting. Instead of using two fields, all four Franklin fields will be utilized.

There will be four games played at noon, including two winner-to-state games. Three more games will be at 2 p.m., including the regional title game and two winner-to-state contests.

•District 7 2A openers at Medical Lake were rained out and rescheduled for today. Loser-out games at 10 a.m. will be: Lakeside vs. Medical Lake and Chewelah vs. Riverside. No. 1 Colville and No. 2 Pullman have opening-round byes and will play at 12:30 p.m.

Baseball

Today’s State 4A openers set for Spokane Falls Community College were postponed and moved to Monday at Avista Stadium. Monday’s schedule: North Central vs. Southridge of Kennewick, 1 p.m.; Shadle Park vs. Kennewick, 4; and championship, 7.

•Today’s State 2A openers at Shadle Park’s Jackson Field were postponed and shifted to Monday at Shadle. The schedule: Lakeside vs. Kiona-Benton, 11 a.m.; Port Townsend vs. Othello, 2 p.m.; championship, 5.
