An orange star on Kiki’s forehead suggest she’s something special. Her prior family became homeless and there was no place for a pregnant teen cat in the women’s shelter. Kiki fended the best she could in a box in the alley until a special foster parent took her and her four newborns in. As often happens with too-young mothers, she couldn’t care for the kittens. Her milk supply dried up and four sickly kittens died within three days. Now in a safe environment, Kiki has regained her spunk and appetite. Foster mom believes that the star on her head suggests she’s blessed. To see her for yourself, call Second Chance Pet Rescue at 664-4106, or visit www.secondchancepetrescue.petfinder.com.
