Potlatch profitable in St. Maries

Because of incorrect information supplied to the newspaper by a conservation group, a story Thursday stated Potlatch Corp. has lost money at its timber operations in St. Maries, Idaho. Company spokesman Mike Sullivan said the branch has been “very profitable.”

Name misspelled in previous stories

As reported in Friday’s newspaper, Jon C. Hair pleaded guilty to four counts of first-degree rape and other crimes. His first name was misspelled in two 2003 accounts of the crime.

Tillotson funeral to be held today

Due to a clerical error, the service time was incorrect in Friday’s obituary for William Tillotson, 79, Sandpoint. The service will be at 11 a.m. today at Coffelt Funeral Service in Sandpoint with interment to follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Sandpoint.
