Northeast B-11: It’s the football game of the year Friday when No. 5 Reardan (6-0) plays at No. 3 Lind-Ritzville (6-0). The Broncos have outscored opponents 283-61, and the Indians have totaled 219 points while giving up only 45. The winner should be the District 7 No. 1 seed into the state playoffs. … No. 9 Liberty (5-1) travels to Republic (4-2), with the winner the favorite to finish as the NEB-11’s third-place team. But the B-11 state tournament bracket has the District 7 No. 3 drawing District 9’s No. 1, probably top-ranked DeSales. Southeast B-11: Asotin (4-1, 1-1), routed last week by DeSales (6-1, 2-0), travels to Dayton (2-4, 2-0) Friday. An Asotin win would force a tie for second. However Dayton’s schedule still includes top-ranked DeSales and Pomeroy (4-1, 1-1). Southeast B-8: Colton-Pullman Christian (5-2, 3-1) gets a Friday night visit from second-place and last year’s state runner-up Jubilee Christian (6-1, 4-1). CPC will move into second with a win. Whitman County: Garfield-Palouse (10-0, 8-0) volleyball has likely secured a first-place finish. The Vikings could be challenged by second-place Tekoa-Oakesdale (9-2, 7-2) Tuesday. The Nighthawks are one of three opponents Gar-Pal didn’t sweep this season. Bi-County: With the league volleyball season winding down, it appears Sprague-Harrington (9-0) should take the title, with Davenport (7-1) second, and third place a struggle between Lind-Ritzville (6-3) and Almira/Coulee-Hartline (5-3). Panorama: Selkirk (8-0) will win the volleyball league championship, with second place up for grabs among 6-2 Inchelium, 6-2 Curlew, 5-3 St. George’s and 4-3 Cusick.
