Northeast B-11: The league should spread out Friday, as three 0-2 teams go on the road to play 2-0 teams. The only game featuring both teams with league wins is Selkirk (1-1) at Liberty (2-0). Last year’s state semifinalist, Davenport, is in danger of falling to 0-3 as it makes the long road trip to 2-0 Republic. Northeast B-8: Cusick heads to Curlew and Mansfield is at Sprague-Harrington on Friday in the first afternoon of official league games. Panorama: League volleyball begins Saturday, with St. George’s at home against Inchelium. Bi-County: Sprague-Harrington defeated defending 1A volleyball champion Lind-Ritzville in three games to open league play Tuesday. Southeast B-8: LaCrosse-Washtucna (2-0), back-to-back state football champion which crushed state runner-up Jubilee Christian (2-1) Friday, continues to look to Kevin Dainty for TDs. Colton/Pullman Christian (3-0), the other undefeated SE-8 team, is at Prescott (1-2) Friday. Quarterback Kyle Kelly has 10 TDs. Southeast B-11: Yet to play a league game, Asotin (2-0) looks to John Ausman, Casey Tuschoff and Josh Johnson to carry last week’s 47-22 victory over Tekoa-Oakesdale/Rosalia (0-2) into this week’s matchup against Enterprise (0-3), Ore. Waitsburg (1-1) defeated Enterprise 42-6 last week. Whitman County: Mallory Puckett of Tekoa-Oakesdale (5-0) and Monica Boone of Garfield-Palouse (2-0) lead their teams in a medley of league volleyball matches.. The teamswill play at Gar-Pal next Thursday. Northeast A-B: In soccer, senior midfielder Bryce Shellarud continues to lead Northwest Christian (3-0-1)with seven goals and an assist.
