Revival planned at Crossroads Baptist

Crossroads Baptist Church in Rose Lake will hold revival services with evangelist Scott Hanberry Sunday through Wednesday. Sunday’s service will meet at 6 p.m.; Monday through Wednesday services will be at 7 p.m.

Senior socials planned

Community United Methodist Church, 1470 W. Hanley, will start monthly senior socials Tuesday at noon. Seniors are invited to enjoy a hot lunch along with an entertaining program that could include music, comedy or travel information. Everyone in the community is invited. Catholic Men annual retreat

The seventh annual retreat for Catholic Men in North Idaho will be held Oct. 1 through 3 at the Shoshone Base Camp on the Coeur d’Alene River. Retreat master is the Rev. Armand M. Nigro, S.J.

He is professor emeritus of religious studies at Gonzaga University. Since his retirement from Gonzaga, he has made giving retreats his full-time ministry. He is a Spokane native and was ordained at Gonzaga in 1956.

Mormon conference scheduled

The 174th semiannual general conference of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will be next Saturday and Sunday

The conference will be broadcast in full on cable television, KBYU-TV channel 9403. Satellite TV broadcasts will be available in all chapels in North Idaho.

Ladies Fall Fellowship

The Dalton Gardens Church of Christ will host the 13th annual Ladies Fall Fellowship next Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The theme is “Measures of Grace,” and the featured speaker is Lacreta Scott from Altadena, Calif.

Registration and coffee hour begin at 8:30 a.m. The cost is $8 for adults and $5 for teens if registered by Monday. Registration the day of the conference is $12. The Dalton Gardens Church of Christ is at 6439 N. Fourth St. For more information, call the church at 772-0541.
