Congratulations to Mr. (Don) Van Lierop for his reinstatement as the head boys basketball coach at Ferris High School.

This puts to rest some of the innuendos that surfaced as a result of the firing of this successful coach last spring. The autocratic district did not act professionally or honestly in this process, and as a taxpayer, I would like to know how many new teachers could have been hired by the financially strapped district.
