Name: Brigitte Kovacs

Occupation: Gelato server at Cafe Doma. She also works part time at Baskin-Robbins.

She is planning to start her college career in the spring semester at North Idaho College and major in psychology.

Family: Brigitte is the second-oldest of 11 children. She has six brothers and four sisters. Two of her siblings are twins, a boy and a girl, age 3. She said her mother, Monica, a part-time real estate agent, is a “saint.” Her dad, Bela, works for Spokane County. He also sells real estate part time.

Hobbies: She loves to play piano, swim, walk around downtown with friends, scrapbook and do stuff with her boyfriend.

Musical preferences: Pop, some rock, and some classical, mostly for piano.

Book that she is currently reading: “Balzac and the Little Chinese Seamstress,” about the re-education of Chinese intellectuals during the Cultural Revolution in the ‘60s and ‘70s.

Favorite foods: Sandwiches, good Chinese food, Mexican, and anything her mom makes.

Favorite color: Orange.

Pet peeves: Tractor-trailer rigs in the left lane on the freeway, and when you are walking fast and someone stops right in front of you.

Summer vacation: She went to Kentucky for two weeks this summer.
