DePaul snaps Wake Forest’s home winning streak
Sammy Mejia scored a season-high 24 points and DePaul beat 16th-ranked Wake Forest 84-81 on Tuesday night in Winston-Salem, N.C., to snap the Demon Deacons’ 21-game home winning streak.
Draelon Burns added a career-high 22 points in his first start of the season for the Blue Demons (5-3), who beat an Atlantic Coast Conference opponent for the first time in five years.
Eric Williams scored 24 points for the Demon Deacons (7-2).
(3) Villanova 62, Pennsylvania 55: At Philadelphia, Allan Ray scored 19 points and the Wildcats (7-0) withstood a 24-7 run late in the second half to beat the pesky Quakers (3-4).
Randy Foye scored 16 points for Villanova, which got off to a shaky start in the first of three straight games against its Big 5 city rivals.
(4) Louisville 78, Chicago State 54: At Louisville, Ky., Taquan Dean scored 21 points and the Cardinals (6-0) overcame a lethargic first half to pull away from the Cougars (1-6). David Holston scored 17 points for Chicago State.
(20) Nevada 83, Seattle Pacific 57: At Reno, Nev., Mo Charlo scored 18 points to lead the Wolf Pack (7-1) to a victory over the Falcons (5-1).
Robbie Will had 17 points for Seattle Pacific, which is ranked fifth nationally in NCAA Division II.
Pac-10 men
Ivan Johnson and Aaron Brooks scored 16 points each to lead five players in double figures as Oregon (5-3) defeated Santa Clara (4-3) 75-66 in Eugene, Ore.
The Ducks hit only 6 of 27 3-pointers, but committed just a dozen turnovers while forcing 21.

Junior Shannel Harris matched her season total of 13 points and South Carolina (3-3) ended a 17-game losing streak against ranked teams with a 79-61 victory over No. 14 Minnesota (6-2) in Columbia, S.C.
(5) Baylor 72, McNeese St. 36: At Waco, Texas, Abiola Wabara scored 15 points and Jessica Morrow added 14 to lead the Bears (8-0) to a victory over the Cowgirls (3-5). Regina Spivey paced McNeese State with 11 points. … (8) Maryland 69, Coppin St. 38: At College Park, Md., Marissa Coleman scored 13 points, Laura Harper and Shay Doron each had 12 and the Terrapins (9-1) never trailed in a rout of the Eagles (1-4).
