Gonzaga Prep’s balanced attack routs Bellarmine Prep

Tara Cronin had 19 points and nine assists to lead Gonzaga Prep to a 70-28 blowout of visiting Bellarmine Prep in a non-league game Tuesday night.

Amy Esmay (14 points), Georgia Burke (12) and Sarah Jennings (10) also hit double figures for the Bullpups (6-1), who led 38-17 at halftime.

Corina O’Brien added seven steals, while Molly Anderson pulled down nine rebounds. No Lions scored more than seven points.

In other non-league action, Lacy Hopkins had 13 points and eight rebounds to lead Priest River to a 48-40 victory over visiting Deer Park. Alicia Schanilec added 10 points for the Spartans (4-6), while Laura Gibson led the Stags (2-3) with 11 points.

•Tournament MVP Jessie DePell scored 32 points on 10-of-25 shooting and added six steals as host Freeman (7-1) won its third straight Greg Larson Memorial Christmas Tournament title with a 57-43 victory over La Salle.

Shae Spicer, Tara Davis and Amber Scott each scored nine points to lead visiting Riverside (3-3) to a 40-34 victory over Seattle Christian to win the Seattle Christian Christmas Classic.

Liz Beardslee scored 34 points, matching her opponents’ team total, as Kettle Falls defeated Granger 56-34 in the Brewster tournament. Cassie Douse added 10 points for the Bulldogs (2-5), who blew the game open with an 18-5 third-quarter run.

Rian Miller had 12 points, seven rebounds, three steals and two blocks to lead Lakeside (5-5) to a 47-38 victory over St. Michael’s in the first round of the Lakeside Winter Tournament at Plummer. Patty Urann and Megan Vogel each scored 13 to lead the Warriors (3-6). … Amanda Smith scored 23 points on 10-of-13 shooting as reigning Washington State B champion Cusick routed the Lakeside JV 73-29. Misty Ostlie added 16 points for the Panthers (6-1), who will face the Knights’ varsity squad in tonight’s championship game.

Darci Dehn had 11 points and 12 rebounds to lead a balanced Davenport attack as the Gorillas defeated visiting Columbia 51-28 in the first round of the Davenport Christmas Tournament. Mallory Mielke and Janelle Janke each added 10 points for the Gorillas (4-2), while Samantha Montgomery led the Lions (1-6) with eight points. … Rochelle Druffel hit 6 of 10 3-pointers and scored 22 points as Colton defeated Soap Lake 52-27. Alisa Moerhle pulled down 10 rebounds for the Wildcats (4-2), who will face Davenport in today’s championship game.

Lailie Arnoux scored 16 points to lead four Wellpinit players in double figures as the Redskins (7-2) defeated Reardan 66-64 on the first day of the Reardan Christmas Tournament. Brooke Ferderer and Chelsea Wagner each scored 14 for the Indians (3-3).
