Whitworth up to 16th

The Whitworth College women’s basketball team is now ranked 16th in both NCAA Division III polls, falling from last week’s 10th position.

The Pirates came in at 16th in both the USA Today/ ESPN / WBCA Coaches’ Poll and the D3hoops.com poll.

Whitworth (17-2 overall, 8-2 Northwest Conference) won at Linfield and lost at George Fox last weekend.

Whitworth, George Fox (14-5, 8-2) and PLU (11-7, 7-2) remain tied for first in the loss column.
