Coeur d’Alene Police

Mike Vaughan, employee of Chase Home Financial, reported Thursday the $1,300 theft of a postage meter machine and Dell GX260 computer system from the business at 296 W. Sunset Ave.

Kurt Umberger reported Wednesday the $1,200 theft of a mountain bike from a home on the 1000 block of N. 14th St.

Dena Seganski, Kmart systems manager, reported Thursday the $39,077 theft of a glass case filled with Black Hills gold jewelry from the business at 201 W. Neider Ave.

Kootenai County sheriff

Philip Walton, Rathdrum, reported Thursday the $800 theft of two chain saws and $820 damage to a door, knickknacks, refrigerator and dishwasher at his home on the 17100 block of N. Atlas Road.

Donald Johnson, Coeur d’Alene, reported Wednesday the $5,000 theft of cash from his home on the 1400 block of E. Fernwood Court.
