Short salmon season starting

From news service reports

Enough hatchery spring chinook salmon have moved into the Snake River to allow a limited season that starts today, the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife announced Friday.

The season for fin-clipped salmon is tentatively scheduled to run seven days a week through June 30, from Texas Rapids boat launch upstream to the Corps of Engineers boat launch approximately one mile upstream of Little Goose Dam on the south bank of the river.
