Occupation: Chiropractor for nine years. She is a second-generation chiropractor. There are seven chiropractors in her family, including her father.

Family: Husband, Evan; Evan has four children, 17 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Hobbies: Boating, traveling, riding motorcycles and reading.

Currently reading: John Grisham’s latest. She enjoys reading “brain-dead” books.

Favorite foods: Good old American, Mexican and Chinese.

Musical preference: All kinds; anything but rap.

Travel plans for summer: They stay home in the summer but are planning to go to Alaska in September.

What Charlene likes best about North Idaho: The beauty of it, the people, and the slower pace.

Goals for the future: To slow down and smell the roses.
