It’s not often you see a dainty blonde like Sugar at the shelter. Most of the dogs there outweigh her by 20 pounds or more. Kootenai Humane Society workers say she was picked on by other animals in her prior home. She developed a dislike of dogs and prefers people for buddies, especially women. She’ll do best as an indoor dog since she likes togetherness and may try to escape an enclosure. She loves a good walk, but is just as happy with peace, quiet and a pig’s ear for a treat.
