LaBarbera sparks Kings

Rookie Jason LaBarbera made 29 saves and Lubomir Visnovsky scored three goals to lead the Los Angeles Kings past the Dallas Stars 6-3 Wednesday night in Dallas.

LaBarbera, a former Spokane Chiefs goalie, improved his record to 7-1-0.

Blackhawks 6, Blues 5 (OT): At St. Louis, Brent Seabrook scored his first NHL goal 35 seconds into overtime, giving Chicago a victory over the Blues.

Canucks 2, Wild 1: At Vancouver, British Columbia, Alex Auld made 16 of his 31 saves in the third period, leading the Canucks past Minnesota.

Senators 10, Sabres 4: At Buffalo, N.Y., Martin Havlat and Daniel Alfredsson each scored four goals as Ottawa thumped the Sabres.

Sharks 3, Predators 2 (OT): At San Jose, Calif., Alyn McCauley’s short-handed goal in overtime carried the Sharks past Nashville.
