Toronto’s Ed Belfour made 34 saves to move into a tie for second on the NHL’s career victory list, and former Spokane Chief Bryan McCabe scored on a 5-on-3 power play midway through the third as the Maple Leafs beat the Florida Panthers 2-1 Monday in Sunrise, Fla.
Belfour has 447 victories to match Terry Sawchuk for second place on the list. Patrick Roy is the leader with 551.
