Inland Empire League

After a relatively sluggish first three quarters, Moscow and Lake City erupted for 55 combined points as Moscow held off the Timberwolves 57-52 at Lake City. Cody Line had a game-high 18 points for the Bears (12-6, 7-3), who took a one-game lead over Lake City (8-10, 6-4) for second place in the IEL. Brett Bemis finished with 14 points and six rebounds for the Timberwolves, who outscored Moscow 31-24 in the fourth quarter. … Lewiston (17-1, 9-1) earned a 72-57 win over Sandpoint (8-11, 3-8) at Lewiston.

Great Northern League

Shad Strerath finished with 13 points and Justin Wood had 12 as Pullman (16-1, 9-0) knocked off Riverside (9-7, 4-4) 67-48 at Pullman. Aaron Anderson had a game-high 19 points for Riverside.

Washington Class B

Panorama League: Henry Butler scored 21 points, Ryan Johnson 18 and Jeffrey Livingston 16 as St. George’s, down 35-22 at halftime, stormed back in the second half, earning a 64-55 win over visiting St. Michael’s and securing the Panorama South’s top seed into the league tournament. Ben Czapla of St. Michael’s led all scorers with 25 points. … Zach Gianukakis finished with 29 points, 14 rebounds and eight assists as Republic (17-2, 15-0) finished the regular season undefeated after going up 63-19 at halftime and cruising to a 101-41 win over Northport at Republic. Luke Lecaire led Northport (4-16, 2-13) with 15 points. … Curlew’s game at Wellpinit was postponed because of a power outage. The game will not be rescheduled. … Tanner Williams led all scorers with 24 points as Cusick (8-12, 5-9) used a 19-11 fourth quarter to pull away for a 63-51 win at Springdale. Nathan Thompson led Springdale (4-16, 2-12) with 21 points and four steals. … Lance Ragan’s 17 points led the way for Inchelium (7-13, 6-9), which held on for a 51-47 win over host Columbia at Hunters. The Lions (1-17, 1-14) had five players who finished with at least seven points, but none reached double figures.

Girls

3A District I playoffs

Elsa Krier had eight points and 10 rebounds, and Darbie Shelden added a game-high 12 points as St. Maries (8-11) held off host Timberlake 40-37 in a loser-out matchup at Spirit Lake. The Lumberjacks will take on Bonners Ferry Monday at 7:30 at Timberlake. The Tigers finish the season with a record of 6-16.

Great Northern League

Jamie Thornton had a game-high 13 points as Pullman (13-4, 8-1) held Riverside to less than double digits in every quarter in a 51-25 win at Pullman. Kelli Davis had five points, nine rebounds, six assists and four steals for the Greyhounds. Riverside (7-9, 3-5) was led by the eight points and seven rebounds of Felicia Clark.

Washington Class B

Bi-County League: Kaylee Semprimoznik finished with a game-high 17 points, and Kari Klaas added 11 as visiting Davenport (13-6, 11-6) outscored Lind-Ritzville 19-6 in the middle quarters en route to a 48-32 win. Brandy Cole led the Broncos (8-11, 8-9) with eight points.
