Of course the “should haves,” “could haves,” “would haves” will fill your mailbox like attempted sacks regarding the loss to Pittsburgh by the Seahawks in the Super Bowl.
A word in Seattle’s behalf: The second best team in the NFL for 2005 achievement requires a resounding “thank you” all around for a remarkable season. I know, I KNOW … winning is supposed to be everything. But second place when measured against Seattle’s peers in a very good league is a first reason to celebrate anytime, anywhere.
