Northeast A League

Brian Danaher was 9 of 13 from the foul line (Kettle Falls was 9 for 12 as a team) and finished with a game-high 18 points as Colfax (16-4, 5-1) knocked off KF 57-55 at Kettle Falls to earn the league title. Adam Bruya added 15 points, and Mathew Johnson had 11 for Colfax, which had lost at home to KF 63-46 on Jan. 21. Brandon Holibaugh led Kettle Falls (16-4, 4-2) with 13 points and eight rebounds, and Jason Azzarito added 12 points.

Great Northern League

Kevin Broadnax finished with 19 points, and Nicholas Wheeler went 8 of 12 from the floor and finished with 14 points as Medical Lake (9-9, 5-5) won 66-51 at Deer Park. Nathan Shea led Deer Park (7-11, 2-8) with 18 points. … Justin Cooper led all scorers with 16 points as Pullman (18-1, 11-0) used a 25-4 third quarter to beat Colville 62-41 at Colville. The Indians (1-18, 0-11) were led by Skyler Dumas’ nine points.

Class B

Whitman County League Tournament: Adam Roberts and Matt Martin each had 15 points as LaCrosse-Washtucna (12-9) earned a spot in Monday’s final by going 18 for 29 from the free-throw line during a 61-48 victory over Tekoa-Oakesdale at Endicott. Austin Cook had 20 points and eight rebounds for Tekoa-Oakesdale (14-7), which hit just 6 of 15 from the foul line. The Nighthawks will play in Monday’s third-place game at 4 p.m. against Asotin. LaCrosse-Washtucna will take on top-seeded St. John-Endicott at 7 p.m. … Charles Appleton finished with 19 points as four Panthers (15-8) reached double figures in Asotin’s 71-56 over Rosalia at Endicott. Kris Widman led Rosalia (8-14) with 19 points.

Panorama League Tournament: Tanner Williams drove the length of the floor and hit the winning layup to lead Cusick (9-13) to a 53-51 victory over Inchelium in a loser-out game at Cusick. Williams finished with 17 to lead Cusick. Inchelium (7-15) was led by Lance Ragan‘s 20 points. Cusick will take on Selkirk in a loser-out game Monday at Ione.

Girls

Great Northern League

Richelle Daily had a game-high 20 points and grabbed 15 rebounds as Medical Lake (11-7, 4-6) went 23 of 29 from the free-throw line (to 8 of 9 for Deer Park) in a 52-46 win at Deer Park. Lyra Reese added 12 points for the Cardinals. Laura Bigson had 17 points for the Stags (9-9, 3-7). … Jamie Thornton had a game-high 20 points as Pullman (15-4, 10-1) routed Colville (0-19, 0-11) 63-15. Jessica Thomas added 12 points for the Greyhounds.

Northeast A League

Lauren Mellor had 14 points, Meagan Teade 13 and Sadie Lazzarini 11 as Colfax (17-3, 6-0) cruised past Kettle Falls 53-32 at Kettle Falls. Liz Beardslee finished with 13 points and nine rebounds for Kettle Falls (16-3, 4-2).

Class B

Panorama League Tournament: Nichole Miller‘s game-high 19 points led Curlew (19-2) to a second-round win over Wellpinit 59-45 at Curlew. Mackenzie Wilson had 13 points, Kady Kirkendall seven points and nine steals for Curlew. Lainie Arnoux led Wellpinit (16-6) with 12 points. Curlew will play Cusick on Friday at 8 p.m. at Colville for the top seed to districts. Wellpinit hosts Republic Tuesday in a loser-out match. … Amanda Smith and Misty Ostlie combined for 14 fourth-quarter points as Cusick (17-5) outscored Inchelium 20-10 in the final period to beat the Hornets 57-52 in a first-round matchup at Cusick. Smith finished with 23 points and also grabbed 22 rebounds for the Panthers, who lost to Inchelium twice in the regular season. Chelsi Pakootas had 18 points for Inchelium (17-4). Inchelium will host St. George’s on Tuesday in a loser-out game. … Sarah Knapton finished with a game-high 24 points as Republic (9-13) knocked off Springdale 54-39 in a loser-out game at Springdale. Down five at halftime, the Tigers outscored the Chargers 41-21 in the second half. Sara Taulaki led Springdale (10-12) with 11 points and 10 rebounds. … Kerry Blake had a game-high 18 points as St. George’s (15-7) knocked off visiting Selkirk 47-39 in a loser-out matchup. Maria Villegas led Selkirk (6-15) with 13 points.

Bi-County League Tournament: Shawn Hennessy finished with 15 points and five assists as Liberty (17-3) dispatched Lind-Ritzville 51-35 in a first-round matchup at Liberty. Laura Davis added 10 points for Liberty. The Broncos (8-13) were led by KyLee Schmunk’s 10 points. Liberty will play Davenport Tuesday in a semifinal at 7:30 p.m. at Reardan. Lind-Ritzville plays Tuesday at 7:30 at Reardan in a loser-out game. … Kaylee Semprimoznik had 15 points and Darci Dehn had a double-double, finishing with 12 points and 10 rebounds as Davenport (15-6) outrebounded Reardan 40-27 in a 55-33 first-round win at Davenport. Reardan (9-12) was led by the eight points and 11 rebounds of Jen Christerson. … Kyla Schmidt had 14 points and eight rebounds as Northwest Christian (11-10) pulled away in the fourth during a 52-34 win over visiting Wilbur-Creston in a first-round matchup. The Wildcats (10-11) were led by Zenda Reidt’s 13 points. NWC will play Sprague-Harrington in a semifinal Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. at Reardan. Wilbur-Creston will play Odessa at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday in a loser out-game, also at Reardan. … Jamie Larmer had a game-high 18 points and grabbed eight rebounds as Sprague-Harrington (21-0) outscored Odessa 37-8 in the second and third quarters en route to a 60-32 first-round win at Harrington. Odessa (8-13) was led by the 16 points of Andrea Kuch.

Whitman County League Tournament: Alysa Koller hit a free throw with 14 seconds left, and Casey Smith’s potential game-winner at the buzzer rolled in and came back out as LaCrosse-Washtucna (16-6) outscored the Nighthawks 28-14 in the fourth quarter to rally from a 15-point halftime deficit and beat the Tigercats 67-66 at Endicott. Koller finished with 20, while Karla Koller had 26. Smith led all scorers with 31 points for Tekoa-Oakesdale (14-7). L-W will take on St. John-Endicott in the final Monday at Endicott at 5:30 p.m. T-O will play Monday at 3:30 p.m. at Endicott against Colton in the third-place game. … Alisa Moehrle finished with 13 points as Colton (16-6) held on to beat Rosalia 38-25 in a loser-out match at Endicott. Clarissa Harston ended her career at Rosalia (6-16) with 748 points, fourth on the school’s all-time list.
