Nathan Hood totaled 10 points and five rebounds Saturday as North Central defeated visiting Clarkston 53-32 in Greater Spokane League play.
Eric Beal added nine points and seven assists for the Indians (11-1, 4-0), who won their 11th consecutive game and tied Shadle Park for first place in the league.
Tyler Hansen had nine points for the Bantams (1-10, 0-4), who lost their 10th consecutive game.
•Ashton Gant totaled 11 points and five assists, and George Turner added 10 points and nine rebounds as first-place Pullman (10-1, 4-0) defeated visiting Deer Park 70-31 in the Great Northern League. The Greyhounds won their ninth consecutive game. •Liberty got a combined 40 points from Andy Hodgson (27) and Aaron Weis (13) in a 65-51 home victory over Reardan in a Bi-County League match-up. The win puts the Lancers (9-2, 7-2) one game ahead of the Indians (7-5, 6-3) for second place in league. Hodgson hit five of seven from behind the arc and dished out six assists while Weise chipped in with 10 rebounds for Liberty. Travis Teaford scored 17 points for Reardan and Eric Everett added 12. … Greg Giese scored 23 points for Almira/Coulee-Hartline to lead the Warriors to a 67-48 win at Odessa. Schultz led all scorers with 24 points, including 12 of 14 from the free-throw line. Jeremiah Big Spring led the Wildcats (8-3) with 15 points and nine rebounds, and Jacob Conboy chipped in 13 points. Riverside finished just a point ahead of Lewis and Clark to win the 12-team Riverside Classic with 201 1/2 points. Bonners Ferry finished third overall with 146 1/2 points. Chuck Gillam (119), Jacob (135) and Ryan DesRoches (160) took championships to lead the Rams to the narrow win.
