Tractor-trailer jackknifes on icy I-90

From staff reports

A tractor-trailer jackknifed on icy pavement Friday shortly after 7 p.m. in the westbound lanes of Interstate 90 east of Coeur d’Alene, one of a number of weather-related accidents throughout North Idaho.

Authorities reported slick roads and several minor slide-off accidents in addition to the toppled semitrailer, but no serious injuries. In Boundary County, fog compounded the problem.

Details on the jackknifed truck on I-90 were sketchy. The accident occurred more than 17 miles from the state line, but the trailer wasn’t carrying any hazardous cargo.
