After Dinner Chair Affair – Volunteers will host dinner parties. In return, each guest will make a tax-deductible donation to the Spokane Art School. Also, there are three dinners with limited seating open to the public to be held at Fire Station 4, 1515 W. First Ave. This Italian dinner is prepared by fire chef Mike Rose, with the Rainbow Fiddle Kids entertaining and Mont Lamm Belgians carrying dinner guests in their Surrey to the after-party. The fire station dinner is $50 and includes the after-dinner party admission. After all enjoy their dinners, folks will gather at CenterStage for a fabulous After-Party with entertainment, dancing, cash bar, desserts and coffee from Starbucks, a silent auction, and a live auction of one-of-a-kind, local artist decorated chairs. Tickets to the After Party at CenterStage can be purchased from the Spokane Art School or area Starbucks. Culinary Feast to Benefit Spokane Meals on Wheels - The Greater Spokane Dietetic Association and Chefs de Cuisine of the Inland Northwest, in an effort to fight hunger in the Spokane area, present a meal combined with wine from local wineries, music and dancing. The culinary delight will be based on the theme of Babette’s Feast, a story by Isak Dinesen and best foreign film in 1988. The event benefits the Spokane area “Meals on Wheels.” As depicted in the movie, Babette’s Feast - a savory, well balanced, beautifully presented and delicious dinner will be accompanied by fine wines and gourmet coffee.
