Tyler Kaluza caught six passes for 97 yards and three touchdowns and Scott Birkhofer booted five field goals to lead the 16th-ranked Linfield Wildcats (4-2, 3-0) to a 44-21 victory over the Pacific Lutheran Lutes (2-5, 1-3) in Northwest Conference football action on Saturday in Puyallup, Wash.
There were 12 turnovers in the game, seven by PLU.
Puget Sound 70, Lewis & Clark 14: Rory Lee rushed for 160 yards and scored four touchdowns – one on a reception – and the Loggers (5-2, 2-2) set a school scoring record in an NWC romp over the Pioneers (0-6, 0-3) in Tacoma.
Central Washington 42, Western Washington 28: Johnny Lopez caught 13 passes for 118 yards and a touchdown and the Wildcats (5-3, 2-3) held off the Vikings (2-6, 1-5) in North Central Conference play at Qwest Field in Seattle.
