Moscow swept Lakeland (2-7, 0-6) in an Inland Empire League doubleheader Saturday in Moscow.

Zach Divilbiss had three hits as the Bears won the first game 12-2. Moscow scored eight runs in the bottom of the fourth inning to go ahead 8-0.

In the second game, the Bears scored seven runs in the first and cruised to a 13-3 win. Derrick Farley, Matt Martin, Marques Miller, Tyler Randall and Ben Saunders each had two hits for Moscow (4-2, 3-1).

“Bonners Ferry swept visiting Timberlake (0-10, 0-5) in an Intermountain League doubleheader. Chris Nelson was 2 for 3 with three RBIs and Chris James went 2 for 4 with two RBIs as the Badgers won the first game 9-3. In the second game, James allowed one run on four hits while striking out 10 as Bonners Ferry (10-3, 3-0) won the second game 11-1.

Bryan Peterson hit a two-run home run in the fifth as West Valley edged visiting Pullman 12-8 in the first game of a Great Northern League doubleheader. Peterson finished 3 for 3 with three RBIs. In the second game, the Greyhounds scored four runs in the first and beat the Eagles (7-4, 4-2) 7-5. Tyler Druffel had a two-run single in the first for Pullman (4-4, 2-2). … Elsewhere in the GNL, Tyler Johnson hit a three-run homer in the first and Riverside cruised to a 7-2 win over visiting Colville in the first game of a doubleheader. The Rams (2-7, 1-5) went ahead 6-0 after the first two innings. In the second game, Trevor Fox allowed four hits and no earned runs while striking out nine in a complete-game effort as the Indians (5-4, 4-2) won 9-2. … Trent Line allowed one run and one hit as Clarkston routed visiting Cheney 12-1 in the first game of a doubleheader. J.T. Rimmelspacher had three hits for the Bantams (3-7, 3-3), including a triple and home run. In game two, the Blackhawks (4-3, 3-1) scored seven runs in the top of the sixth and won 11-8. … Deer Park’s doubleheader at Medical Lake was postponed. A makeup date wasn’t announced.

Softball

Pullman swept host West Valley in a Great Northern League doubleheader. Erica Hanson’s RBI double in the bottom of the seventh gave the Greyhounds a 5-4 win in the first game. Haley Bauman went 3 for 4 with three RBIs for the Eagles. In the second game, Pullman scored six runs in the seventh and beat West Valley (5-5, 2-3) 16-10. Ashley Sterk went 3 for 4 with four RBIs for the Greyhounds (9-2, 6-0). … In other GNL action, Clarkston (4-6, 3-2) swept Cheney (5-7, 2-4) in a doubleheader. The Bantams scored six runs in the top of the seventh and won 7-4 in the first game. Clarkston won the second game 11-1.
