DuRocher will leave WSU
Sophomore Amanda DuRocher will leave the Washington State women’s basketball team and will transfer at the end of the semester.
DuRocher, an All-Pac-10 Freshman Honorable Mention winner in 2005, will attend The Master’s College, an NAIA school in Santa Clarita, Calif.

Ferris alum Chris Bozo and Post Falls grad Cody Brubaker each homered, but Community Colleges of Spokane (17-14, 7-6) dropped both games of an NWAACC doubleheader, 6-3 and 4-3, to Treasure Valley (25-15, 11-3) in Ontario, Ore.
■Shadle Park alum Billy Rigsby was 5 for 10 with seven RBIs on the day as Big Bend (13-16, 6-7) swept Blue Mountain (6-27, 0-14) 15-4, 14-6 in an NWAACC doubleheader at Moses Lake.

Whitworth moved up one spot in the NFCA Division III poll to a program-record No. 8 ranking.
Women’s golf
Eastern Washington sophomore Chloe Nelson shot a 223 to finish fourth for the fourth-place Eagles at the Big Sky Conference Championship at the Palm Valley Golf Club in Goodyear, Ariz.
