Prugh lost on the 19th hole to Jon Curran.

The former Ferris High School and University of Washington golfer finished stroke play at 138, a stroke behind medalist Jason Kokrak.

The tournament concludes Saturday.

“Savana Bezdicek, 13, of Colbert took Rui Li of Kent, Wash., to the final hole before falling 1-up in the championship flight quarterfinals of the PNGA Junior Girls’ Amateur Championship at Ocean Shores (Wash.) Golf Club.

Bezdicek, down three holes early, rallied to tie at the 11th, fell one back at 16 after missing a short putt and couldn’t make up the deficit on the final two holes.

Li, a sophomore at Kentwood High, defeated medalist Lauren Sewell of Renton, Wash., to advance to today’s 36-hole final against Seo Hee Moon of Mukilteo, Wash.

Sierra Bezdicek, 12, who lost to her sister on the first day of match play, won her first flight quarterfinal 3 and 2 over Taylor Babcock of Lake Oswego, Ore., before losing 1-up in the semifinals to Kristin Tan of Seattle.
