The Slice

My friend Marvin Lake in North Idaho wonders if anyone around here receives birthday wishes from a more far-flung assortment of locations.

And he’s got a point. Those who remembered his big day recently are fairly well scattered.

Here’s his list.

Seville, Spain – granddaughter.

Clyde, Alberta – granddaughter.

Fukuoka, Japan – former exchange student.

Priest River, Idaho – brother.

Kingston, Idaho – brother.

Newberg, Ore. – son

Spokane – son

Kellogg, Idaho – wife.

Hmmm. That’s not bad. But something tells me it can be topped.

Let’s see your list.
