Senior Bryan Peterson scored a game-high 15 points and pulled down eight rebounds to lead West Valley to a 53-41 non-league victory over Post Falls on Tuesday at Gonzaga’s McCarthey Athletic Center.

Parker Flynn added 11 points for the Eagles (2-1), who outscored the Trojans 19-10 in the fourth quarter to put the game out of reach.

Post Falls (1-6) was led by Shawn Reid, who scored 14 points.

In other non-league games, Jaime Fertakis scored 18 points on 7-of-10 shooting to lead Pullman to a 72-55 win over visiting Lewiston. Cody Weber added 14 points and five assists and A.J. Sandford chipped in 12 points for the Greyhounds (1-1), who led 31-19 at the half. Ryan Young and Ridge Fuentes scored 10 points apiece to guide the Bengals (2-2). … Casey Cook and Brandon Hovde had 18 points apiece to guide Tekoa-Oakesdale to a 79-54 win over Asotin in Oakesdale.
