Colfax approves Bi-County move

The Colfax School Board on Monday approved the move to compete in the Bi-County 2B League next school year.

Long a Northeast A League program, athletic director Mike Morgan said the decision to join the Bi-County was culmination of arduous process.

“We saw this coming a long ways away and have been working on it,” he said.

The plan was to go north rather than south.

“We do so much with the Bi-County anyway,” Morgan said. “For years we played Liberty and Ritzville for our non-league games. We’re comfortable with the teams.”

Based on enrollment figures, Colfax became eligible for 2B.
