Katie Madison had game highs with 24 points and 15 rebounds as Idaho topped San Jose State 72-64 Thursday in a Western Athletic Conference game at San Jose, Calif.
Liz White had 22 points, and Lindsey Koppen notched a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds for the Vandals (5-15, 2-7), who did not trail. San Jose State tied the game at 40 early in the second half, but could not get the lead as Idaho seemed to answer every push from the Spartans.
Brittany Powell paced the Spartans (2-21, 1-8) with 24 points.
