Rashard Lewis had another strong game since returning from a hand injury, scoring 29 points and grabbing seven rebounds, and the Seattle SuperSonics never trailed in a 97-73 win over the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday night in Seattle.

Ray Allen had an outstanding all-around game with 16 points, 10 rebounds and six assists. Seattle won its third straight at home and snapped a brief two-game skid.

The SuperSonics recognized Spencer Haywood for his accomplishments on the floor and his fight in the courts, 32 years after he last played in Seattle.

Haywood’s No. 24 was retired at halftime. And while Haywood was proud about the moment finally arriving, there was sorrow too, following the last week’s death of Dennis Johnson, who also wore No. 24 in his time with the Sonics.

76ers 89, Kings 82: At Philadelphia, Samuel Dalembert scored 20 points and grabbed 17 rebounds, and Andre Iguodala had 22 points to lead Philadelphia to a win over Sacramento.

The Sixers used a 12-5 run late in the fourth to put away the Kings and snap a two-game losing streak.

Knicks 99, Heat 93: At New York, Stephon Marbury scored 18 of his 25 points in the fourth quarter, and Jamal Crawford stuck it to Miami again with 3-pointer in the closing seconds to lift New York to a victory.

Shaquille O’Neal went over the 25,000-point mark for his career midway through the first quarter.

Spurs 107, Raptors 91: At San Antonio, Tony Parker scored 27 points and Tim Duncan had 24 points and 16 rebounds as San Antonio beat Toronto.

Robert Horry scored 14 points, Manu Ginobili added 13 and Michael Finley had 10.

Nuggets 111, Grizzlies 107: At Memphis, Tenn., Carmelo Anthony scored 33 points, Nene added 27 and Allen Iverson had 25 to lead Denver to a victory over Memphis.

Anthony’s two free throws with 3:18 to go gave the Nuggets a 105-103 lead.

Mavericks 110, Hawks 87: At Dallas, Dirk Nowitzki had 27 points and eight rebounds, Jason Terry added 21 points, and Dallas extended its winning streak to 12 games with a victory over Atlanta.

Josh Howard had 20 points before leaving in the fourth quarter with a sprained right ankle.

Magic 94, Bulls 87: At Chicago, Dwight Howard scored 21 points and had 16 rebounds and Jameer Nelson added 18 points as Orlando got a rare road victory by beating Chicago.

Hedo Turkoglu hit two free throws with 12.3 seconds left after Howard tipped out an offensive rebound to seal the win.

Celtics 77, Rockets 72: At Houston, Paul Pierce scored 28 points to lead Boston to over Houston.

The Celtics rallied from a 13-point fourth quarter deficit to avoid their 12th straight road loss.

Lakers 102, Jazz 94: At Salt Lake City, Kobe Bryant made up for an off shooting night from the floor by making 21 free throws and scoring 35 points, playing with a sore throat and leading Los Angeles past Utah.

Bryant was 21 for24 from the line and just two away from tying his own team record.

Clippers 100, Bobcats 93: At Los Angeles, Corey Maggette scored a season-high 25 points and Los Angeles beat Charlotte after losing point guard Shaun Livingston in the first quarter with a dislocated left knee cap.

Six Clippers scored in double figures.

Gerald Wallace led the Bobcats with 20 points and 12 rebounds. Adam Morrison contributed 15 points.
