Bi-County League

Joe Grewe scored 19 points and Matt Zanbergen added 10 as Northwest Christian (12-0, 8-0) beat visiting Liberty (10-2, 7-1) 59-42 Tuesday.

John Graham chipped in with eight points for the Crusaders, who take over sole possession of first place in the league standings. Aaron Weis led Liberty with 16 points.

Elsewhere, Chance Ackerman scored 21 points, leading Reardan (8-4, 5-3) to a 56-47 win over host Odessa (2-8, 1-7). Drake Costlow scored a game-high 24 points for the Tigers. … Damian McCartney hit a 3-pointer with one second left in overtime and Colton Berg scored 22 points as Wilbur-Creston (5-7, 4-4) overcame a 9-point third quarter to beat Davenport (4-7, 1-7). Kyle Nelson had 18 points and seven rebounds for the Gorillas.

Great Northern League

Casey Sherrill scored 14 points and Parker Flynn added 13 as West Valley (6-2, 3-0) topped visiting Medical Lake (5-4, 2-1) 59-52. Colton Curtis tallied 18 points and Ray Erwin added 15 to lead the Cardinals. … In other league action, Cary Conklin led four players in double figures with 17 points as Clarkston toppled host Deer Park (4-6, 1-3) 75-60. Sean Bernier tossed in 13 points, and Don Perconti and Dustin McConnell each added 12 for the Bantams (2-7, 2-2).

Northeast A League

Jakobi Bradeen made a short bank shot as time expired in overtime to give Kettle Falls (3-7, 1-1) a 55-54 victory over visiting Freeman (7-4, 1-1). Bradeen finished with 18 points and added a team-high 12 rebounds. Brian Strobel scored 20 points for the Bulldogs to lead all scorers. … Forest Trampush scored a game-high 12 points and hit two clutch free throws with 24 seconds left and Chewelah (6-5, 1-1) edged visiting Lakeside-Nine Mile Falls 43-42. Rylin Dukes tallied 11 points to lead the Eagles (5-4, 1-1).

Jake Fleming and Adam Roberts scored 12 points apiece and Jared Ayers-Stamper added 11 as LaCrosse-Washtucna (5-7, 1-3) beat Sprague-Harrington (4-8, 0-5) 65-39 in Sprague. The Falcons outscored the Hornets 22-12 in the fourth quarter to put the game away. … Jordan Palmer scored a game-high 17 points and Todd Pinter added 14 points and eight rebounds as Garfield-Palouse (7-3, 4-2) beat Rosalia (5-6, 2-3) 51-38 in Garfield. Kris Widman tallied a team-high 14 points for the Spartans. … Junior Josiah Tampien scored 19 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, leading Tekoa-Oakesdale (7-3, 4-0) to a 62-51 win over visiting Colton (6-6, 2-3). Austin Mannick scored a game-high 17 points and Tyler Keeley chipped in 15 as Curlew (8-4, 6-1) topped host Columbia (0-11, 0-8) 51-30 in Hunters. Josh Wynne led the Lions with 10 points.

Jamie Stevenson scored 17 points and Matt Saetre added 13 as Lind-Ritzville (8-4) beat host St. John-Endicott (5-7) 62-49 in St. John.

Inland Empire League

Ty Stoddard scored a game-high 18 points and Nick Fromm added 14 points and seven rebounds as Lake City (7-4, 2-2) topped visiting Sandpoint (4-7, 0-4) 61-42. The Timberwolves outscored the Bulldogs 15-5 in the second quarter, building a 25-14 halftime lead. Drake Hanson scored 18 points to lead Sandpoint.

Elsewhere in the IEL, Leon Duplessis scored 17 points, including five 3-pointers, as Coeur d’Alene (8-3, 3-1) beat host Lakeland (0-9, 0-4) 65-52 in Rathdrum. Andrew Prohaska added 16 points for the Vikings, who outscored the Hawks 21-17 in the second quarter and took a nine-point lead into halftime. Bubba Bartlett tallied 25 points on 10-of-12 shooting and grabbed nine rebounds to lead Lakeland. … Shane Miller scored 22 points, leading Moscow (9-2, 3-0) to a 39-36 win over host Lewiston (7-2, 3-1). With the win, the Bears took over sole possession of first place in the IEL standings.

Wrestling

Cheney won four of the first five matches and beat host Colville 55-27 in a Great Northern League meet. Brandon Moseley, Austin Combs, Jason Skjothaug, Austin Miller and Mitch Eggett all notched pins for the Blackhawks. … Elsewhere in the GNL, Medical Lake won six matches in a row after Ben Groce notched a pin in the 160-pound weight class and the Cardinals topped host West Valley 46-28. … Riverside won nine of the final 10 matches, beating visiting Pullman 55-15.
