Listen to coaches, Zags

The Spokesman-Review

What’s wrong with the Zags? I would like to start out with the positive part of GU’s program. In a USA Today article Dick Vitale said, “I thought John Chaney retired at Temple. No, he’s on the sidelines at Gonzaga and his name is Mark Few. Only Chaney would play a schedule this tough.”

Vitale goes on to say that GU would dominate. I would like to add that the long month on the road in December would tire out most basketball teams. Our Zags are fighters with passion, high energy, enthusiasm and the perseverance to give it their best.

But like all sports teams there are wrongs, so here is my amateurish, from the stands, opinion: GU has one of the best coaching staffs in America in Mark Few and his assistants. Just listen to the coaches and continue to work as a team. This year’s team is blessed with a lot of great talent.
