Hints from Heloise

The Spokesman-Review

Dear Heloise: I take a lot of photos with my digital cameras and then run off my favorites on my printer. If I am going to run several copies of the same photo, I run it on plain paper first to be sure it looks exactly like I want it to. This way, I don’t waste the expensive photo paper. This has saved me a lot and is easy to do! – K.C. in Colorado

K.C., I do the exact same thing, and you are right – it works wonderfully. Heloise

Dear Readers: Plastic water bottles have a number of other uses, including:

•Fill about halfway with water and freeze. Put it in an ice cooler when camping or boating.

•You can also freeze some water in it and then wrap in foil to help keep your lunch cool.

•Fill with water for a pet during a trip.

•Use to water hard-to-reach plants.
