Kudos to Trimmer

Wow! I am so impressed with Dave Trimmer’s coverage of the district track meets last week. He was involved from start to finish both Thursday and Friday. That’s midafternoon until after 10 p.m.

Dave has a special gift. His news coverage is so alive that I feel the thrill of re-living event by event when I read about it the next day. For events I miss, Dave’s writing brings it to life for me. He interacts with the participants, and it is a joy for them to be acknowledged for their hard work and skills. It is also extra special for the rest of us to read about our children, grandchildren and acquaintances.

My sincere thanks to Dave Trimmer for excellent track and field coverage all season and my deepest appreciation for his outstanding reporting skills.
