Central Valley finishes with triumph

YAKIMA – Brad Whitley rushed for 151 yards and a touchdown on 26 carries, and Jeff Danielson added a pair of TD runs to lead the Central Valley Bears to a 28-13 season-ending victory over the Eisenhower Cadets in a crossover game with the Columbia Basin League on Saturday.

CV’s other score came in the second period when quarterback Blake Bledsoe connected with William Davis for a 25-yard TD.

Danielson finished with nine carries for 40 yards for the Bears (8-2), who amassed a 247-77 advantage in rushing yards.

Bledsoe completed 9 of 19 passes for 118 yards with two interceptions.

The Cadets (7-3) scored on a 65-yard interception return by Warren Griffin and a 95-yard kickoff return by Jordan Elmo.
