Ryan Armbruster threw two fourth-quarter touchdown passes to lead 4A Sandpoint to a 31-17 Inland Empire League win over host 5A Lewiston (3-3) on Friday.

Armbruster added a 1-yard touchdown run in the first quarter to give the Bulldogs (4-3) a 7-0 lead.

Ethan Vest also scored from 1 yard out in the first quarter for Sandpoint, which held a 14-10 advantage at the half.

Intermountain League

Bonners Ferry (2-4, 2-0) scored 14 first-quarter points and held on for a 14-8 win at Priest River (2-4, 1-2). … Elsewhere, Ty Ketchum ran for four touchdowns to lead Kellogg (3-2, 1-1) to a 61-12 win over visiting St. Maries (1-6, 0-3).

North Star League

Jay Ploharz threw for two touchdowns, returned the opening kickoff 88 yards for a score and returned an interception 68 yards for another touchdown as Mullan (3-3, 1-2) routed visiting Lakeside (0-4, 0-2) 58-12. Ploharz completed 10 of 24 passes for 212 yards and ran 11 times for 100 yards to lead the Tigers, who led 46-12 at halftime. The game was called in the third quarter because of the 45-point mercy rule. … Elsewhere, Mike Martin scored three rushing touchdowns and threw for two more to guide Clark Fork (4-1, 2-0) to a 40-28 victory over visiting Wallace (4-2, 1-2).
