Auditions

“Eastern Standard” – North Idaho College Theater Department, today, 7-9 p.m. in Boswell Hall on the Coeur d’Alene campus. Auditioners must be prepared to read cold from the script. Needed: three men and two women in their late 20s and one woman in her 50s or 60s. The play includes strong language and adult themes. Performances will be Oct. 25-Nov. 3. Call (208) 769-3220.

“Christmas Schooner” – Spokane Civic Theatre, Monday and Tuesday, 6:30 p.m. at the theater, 1020 N. Howard. Auditioners must perform a memorized verse and chorus from a Broadway musical, plus read cold from the script. “The Will of Fortune” – CenterStage, Monday and Tuesday, 7 p.m. at the theater, 1017 W. First. Auditioners must prepare a two-minute monologue and improvisation will be required. Kinderchoir – Auditions will be Monday, Tuesday and Sept. 17-18 for the yearlong children’s chorus program, which accepts singers in grades 2-12. Tuition ranges from $90-$100 per semester. Call (509) 744-0875 for an audition appointment.

Spokane Watercolor Society – Artists are needed for the society’s 12th annual regional juried water media exhibition at the downtown Spokane Public Library, Sept. 29-Oct. 26. Call (509) 464-1434.
