All Christian youth in the Valley area are invited to a “See You After the Pole” event at 7 p.m. Wednesday. That day is the national “See You At the Pole” event that features students meeting at the flag pole of their school for morning prayer.

The evening event will feature worship, games and free food. It is open to all junior high and high school students. Hundreds of teens are expected to attend. The host of the event is Valley Assembly of God Church, 15618 E. Broadway Ave.

Valleyfest worship

This weekend is Valleyfest, a popular Valley tradition. Those interested in heading there Sunday morning can take advantage of a nondenominational worship service at 10:30 a.m. at the main stage in Mirabeau Point Park.

Anniversary celebration

Valley Fourth Memorial Church will celebrate its 35th anniversary with a special worship service at 10:40 a.m. Sunday. The church, now home to more than 335 families, began in 1972 as a church plant of Fourth Memorial Church in downtown Spokane.

A reception and balloon release will follow the service. All are welcome to attend. The church is at 2303 S. Bowdish Road.

Concert

The Continentals will perform in concert at 7 p.m. Monday at Dishman Baptist Church, 315 N. Argonne Road. The evangelical group of teens and young adults will perform a contemporary Christian program titled “All Over the World.” Admission is fre,and all are welcome.
