Cusick’s offense gets rolling

Riley Bauer ripped the nets for 26 points and Spencer Shanholtzer added 20 points to send the Cusick Panthers to a 76-33 victory over the St. Michael’s Warriors in Panorama League play in Cusick on Tuesday.

Tyler Edwards and Louie Bluff scored 13 and 12, respectively, for the Panthers (2-0, 1-0).

John Drass paced the Warriors (0-2, 0-1) with 14 points.

District 9 North

Jim Maley scored 18 to go with nine rebounds and the Rosalia Spartans (3-1, 1-0) posted a 42-35 victory over the host Colton Wildcats (0-2, 0-1). Chase Druffel scored 10 for Colton.

Non-league

Coeur d’Alene 69, Moses Lake 51: Devon Austin poured in 30 points and snagged six rebounds and Connor White chipped in with 10 points, seven assists and three steals to lead the Vikings to a victory over the visiting Chiefs. Connor Williams added 10 points and eight rebounds for CdA.

Curlew 64, Kettle Falls 57: Jordan Wakefield totaled 30 points and 28 rebounds and the Cougars (3-0) held off the visiting Bulldogs (0-2). Tanner Somday added 14 points and seven steals for Curlew, which jumped out to an 18-7 first-quarter lead. Shelby Hite and Kolton McInelly each tossed in 17 points for Kettle Falls.

Freeman 49, Deer Park 31: Chris Miller netted 14 points, grabbed nine rebounds and handed out five assists to guide the Scotties (3-1) past the visiting Stags (0-2). Peter Heinen scored 10 and Anthony Emtman pulled down 12 rebounds for the victors. Dan Hutchinson scored six to top the Stags.

Garfield-Palouse 54, St. John-Endicott 50: Tyson Palmer scored 24 of his 26 points in the second half to help the Vikings (3-1) erase a nine-point halftime deficit en route to a victory over the host Eagles (2-2). Warren Miller topped the Eagles with 16 points, while Wyatt Sitton scored 15.

Wilbur-Creston 43, Soap Lake 33: Austin Snavely scored 16 of his 21 points in the first half and finished with 11 rebounds and five blocked shots to help the Wildcats (2-1) roll to victory.

Lakeside (Wash.) 53, St. George’s 43: Dillon Watkins scored 25 on 10-of-12 shooting from the floor and grabbed 10 rebounds to help the Eagles (3-0) cruise past the host Dragons (1-2). Sully Blake led the Dragons with 13 points.

Cheney 59, Sandpoint 45: DeAngelo Jones tossed in 26 points and Dalton Harding scored all his points on a pair of momentum-changing 3-pointers in the fourth quarter to help the Blackhawks (1-2) defeat the visiting Bulldogs 0-2). Tony Locascio’s 15 points topped Sandpoint.

Lewiston 72, Clarkston 58: Jarod Heitzman poured in 25 points and Ryan Strong added 14 points to lead the Bengals (2-0) past the host Bantams (0-2). Clarkston was led by the 15 points of Dustin McConnell.

Coeur d’Alene Charter 51, Wallace 24: Bob Schrack and Wes Billingslea each scored 13 and Schrack added 13 rebounds to lead the Panthers (2-0) past the visiting Miners (0-2). Kyle Vester paced Wallace with eight points.

Odessa 43, Inchelium 33: Nick Campbell tallied 14 points to propel the Tigers (1-2) to a win over the host Hornets (1-2). Inchelium was led by Tony Louie’s 17 points.

Kellogg 53, Lakeland 44: Kyle Kenser scored 18 and grabbed seven rebounds to help the Wildcats (3-1) hold off the host Hawks (1-2). Caleb Geurber scored 15 to pace Lakeland.

Northwest Christian 51, Riverside 42: Chase Ramey scored seven of his 18 points in the fourth quarter and the Crusaders (3-0) turned back the visiting Rams (0-2). Joey Nyberg scored 11 to lead Riverside.

Selkirk 54, L.V. Rogers 50: Trevor Turpin had 16 points, five rebounds and four steals to lead the Rangers (4-0) past the visitors from British Columbia.

Chewelah 68, Springdale 36: Dallas Garner tallied 15 points and Forest Trampush scored 14 to lead the Cougars (2-1) past the host Chargers (2-1). Casey Pardun scored 12 to lead Springdale.
