Olympic gold medalist Kristin Armstrong says she plans to ride professionally for one more year. Armstrong won the time trial event in Beijing in August, a victory that launched a busy schedule of public appearances. She also has spent the past few months contemplating her future in cycling. Ultimately the University of Idaho graduate and Boise resident decided to compete one more season. “This will be my last year and I’m not just saying that,” Armstrong, 35, said. “Last year, it was maybe, maybe not. Now I know.”
