Indians top Gorillas
Sara Wilke tossed in 18 points and Ashley Perleberg added 16 points and eight rebounds to power the Reardan Indians to a 41-32 victory over the visiting Davenport Gorillas in Bi-County 2B League play Saturday.
Reardan (3-1, 2-0) scored 23 of its points at the free-throw line – in 30 attempts.
Mariah Mielke scored 13 and Alysha Brantley added 12 points for Davenport (0-2, 0-1).
Colfax 61, Lind-Ritzville 54: Kayla Johnson poured in 33 points and Rachel Johnson chipped in eight points, five rebounds and five assists to carry the Bulldogs (3-0, 2-0) past the visiting Broncos (0-3, 0-1). Devon Killian topped L-R with 20 points, including 12 in the final period.
Panorama League
Columbia 46, Curlew 38: Julie Ann Larrew and Krista Colvin each scored 10 points to send the Lions (5-0, 3-0) past the host Cougars (3-1, 0-1). Chanel Somday topped Curlew with 12 points, while Larissa Miller chipped in 10.
Cusick 44, Inchelium 37: Lydia Treischel (14 points) and Chelsea Treischel (12) accounted for 59 percent of the offense to lead the front-running Panthers (6-0, 4-0) over the host Hornets (3-3, 1-2). Nikki Fry had a double-double for Inchelium with 14 points and 11 rebounds.
Springdale 48, Republic 31: Shelbea Rainbolt and Kelsey Fitzgerald combined to score 22 points and the Chargers (4-1, 1-1) cruised to a road win over the Tigers (1-5, 0-2). Tori Orestad had nine points and seven rebounds to lead Republic.
District 9 North League
Tekoa-Oakesdale 55, Pomeroy 42: Shelby Puckett tallied 19 points and Jordyn Hutton added 14 to lead the Nighthawks (1-2, 1-1) past the visiting Pirates (4-2, 1-1), who were led by the 16 points of Kaci Uto.
Non-league
Newport 48, Priest River 45: Pam Bell scored a game-high 24 points, including 10 in the final 2 minutes, 15 seconds of the game, and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead the Grizzlies (6-3) over the Spartans (2-5) in the championship game of the Newport Holiday Tournament.
Kettle Falls 74, Northport 29: Samantha Charlton totaled 18 points, five steals and six assists, Jessica Coots scored 18 with eight rebounds and Chelsea Brisbois added 12 points and nine rebounds as the Bulldogs (4-2) overpowered the host Mustangs (0-5). Shyanne Wilson had a game-high 24 points for Northport.
Colville 60, Chewelah 17: Jordan Brons and Britnee Craft both scored 11 to lead the Indians (3-1) over the visiting Cougars (1-5). Ariel Wood’s eight points led Chewelah.
Postponements
Wellpinit’s Panorama League game at St. Michael’s was postponed. No makeup date was announced. … Northwest Christian’s Bi-County 2B League game at Liberty was postponed and will be made up on Jan. 13. … Touchet’s non-league game at Rosalia was postponed. No makeup date was given.
